14 Days Left!
I can't believe we've made it 6 weeks Post-Op so far! It actually seems to have gone by fast, thank God! Exactly 2 more weeks until her follow-up appointment. Hopefully she'll get the go ahead to bust out of the crate at that appointment. I think she'll also get X-rays taken at that appointment and I'm going to try to get a copy of them so I can post a picture of her bionic knee!
As our British friends would say, Riley's getting a little bit "cheeky" in her crate! No, she's being good...just has to let out a few barks and whines every so often to let us know she's still in there and is being cruelly forgotten about! :)

Welcome to Adventures of a Cattle Dog. Be sure to check back every now and then as this blog is updated often. Oh, and Riley wags her tail and says "woof!"

Woof! Woof! Golden Happy for you ... Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
We're so happy for you too! I wanted to suggest this at the begginning, (but I forgot). Maybe you could make paper rings to count down the days? I know it's a bit childish, but is is super fun! Best of all, Riley could tear the rings off herself! Here is an example: http://swimtaxi234.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-rings.html
The only downside is it can be a little depressing to look at all the rings that are left. :-)
Heal faster Riley!

How very well behaved in the crate :-)
She has been an incredibly good and patient girl, and you have done a great job too. We hope two weeks bring her freedom.
